This piece is set in a k-punk world of potential superheroes within the regime of capitalist realism. EVERAFTER is the most ambitious pilot project ever developed by the megacorporation WKW III. It is a demo of playbour hyperreality designed to extract profitability from the prospect of unlimited self-realization. This demo is the home of its first seven meta-inhabitants, who wait without end for the project to materialise, thus being reduced to the role of perpetual interns in a performative suspension of potential. The audience enters this multiverse as an investor participating in a voyeuristic tourist experience, able to observe close-up the reality of this world under construction.
Launched by Guillem Jiménez in 2019, laSADCUM is a dance project with two small-format and two large-format shows to date. The latest one, NAVAJA, was staged at the Mercat last season. Their pieces have been presented at venues such as the Teatros del Canal in Madrid, De Singel in Antwerp, and the CCCB and Paral·lel 62 in Barcelona, among others. They have also participated on educational and mediation programs and held two exhibitions (CLASSMATES, in 2020, and TWINK TWINK TWINK, in 2022). They have won numerous awards for their shows.
