Teachers in Dance is a working group linked to the Mercat de les Flors. It was set up in the 2013-2014 academic year.

The meeting point is the dance training course organized every year by the Mercat de les Flors. The teachers are united by their interest in the language of dance, body and movement and the deep conviction that this activity should be present in schools. To date, seven teachers form part of the project:
Our main objective at the Mercat is to identify tasks and areas of interest that enrich the everyday work with the students.
Enthusiastic teachers who believe in what they are doing, ensuring that learning is meaningful and global and that it does not ignore the expressive language of the body.

One of our tasks is to collect and transcribe the dance sessions directed by different choreographers and prepared within the framework of the Dan Dan Dansa course at the Mercat de les Flors and reorganize them according to the parameters needed to put them into practice at school and in the classroom.
