In this partnership between Paloma Muñoz and the German company tanzmainz, the choreographer proposes an intense, sensual journey in which the bodies remember, unlearn, lose themselves and find new ways of connecting with each other. The piece unfolds as a choreographic landscape in two acts: day and night, between the outside world and inner space. The choreography features eight dancers and is open to multiple interpretations. It also proposes a reconsideration of the very idea of nature and the sense of belonging.

tanzmainz is a contemporary dance company based at the Staatstheater Mainz. It is formed by twenty-five dancers with a long artistic career and has been directed by Honne Dohrmann since 2014.

The choreographer and dancer Paloma Muñoz has worked with companies such as IT Dansa, Metros, Ramon Oller, Thomas Noone Dance and Norrdans. She has her own company, Siberia, and has been a resident artist at Mercat de les Flors for the last two seasons. She also works as a guest choreographer for companies abroad, for instance in Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Furthermore, she takes on audiovisual projects, which range from video dance to choreographic direction in films. Among her most recent pieces is La Quijá (2024), a Mercat production that won both the Catalan Critic’s Award and the Catalan Butaca Award for the best dance production, in addition to being nominated for the Max Awards.
