VORTEX is an epic visual and physical works dealing with the subject of the transformation of air. Is a performance for adult audiences and portrays the terrible experience of a human body in process of transformation in an eroded and unassailable universe. In the arena of VORTEX, the norm does not exist or else is deliberately false in order to understand the need to rid ourselves of taboos. Here, the wind is oscillating matter used to escape gravity and awaken “The Alien” within us: our hidden part, disguised under a borrowed uniform.

The Non Nova company is a heterogeneous group of artists of both sexes, different ages and experience, united by the desire to give the audience the opportunity to experience new and unexpected sensations. It was founded in 1998 by Phia Ménard with the aim of tackling the art of juggling, its stage treatment and its dramatic structure from another standpoint. “Non nova, sed nove” (It’s not new, just seen differently) is the company’s founding principle. Its works have been staged worldwide.
