AYARA HERNÁNDEZ (URY / DE) SÂLMON<. Portrait of a monster (edition 1)

In this triptych, some bug-men move around in a jungle of sounds, objects and other beings that interfere with one another without agreement. In it, a constant tension exists between being a body, having a body and inventing a body; between what is shown, what is hidden and what is about to appear.

In this piece, an effort is made so that performers, scenography, lights and sound can live together in an environment where each of these elements has its own logic and cohabits with the others without harmony and through their differences.

Ayara Hernández Holz creates her works in collaboration with choreographer and performer Fèlix Marchand and other guest artists that go by the name LUPITA PULPO. Her works have been presented in Latin America and Europe. She also works on the documentación orgánica (organic documentation) project, a series of works about the recalling processes of stage works and their poetic potential. Ayara lives and works in Berlin and Montevideo.
