Slow Sports Kids explores our fascination with sports and how we experience them. The piece investigates how athletes see movement and the physical aspects of sportspeople: their bodies, beauty, rhythmic movements, facial expressions, the sounds produced by their actions. It also reflects on how sports events are organized and the way they are presented in the media.
Albert Quesada works as a dancer and choreographer in Barcelona and Brussels. He trained at the MDT (Amsterdam) and PARTS (Brussels). The exploration and translation of musical structures and compositions into dance and a specific invitation to the spectators to perceive and listen to the proposed works lies at the heart of his choreographies. Since 2005 Quesada has created numerous pieces, some of which have been staged at the Mercat.
#Albert Quesada is one of the usual dancers of Thomas Hauert.
