The venue is not innocent:

The idea of Grand Applause is to transfer an exhibition format to a performative format. It is a curatorial project; with a choreography that uses a virtual structure on a 1.1 scale based on the plot of Bizet’s opera Carmen. It brings together the work of three dancers: Norberto Llopis in the role of “Carmen”, Luis Úrculo in the role of “Don José”, and Bernhard Wilhelm as “Escamillo the toreador”.

Personal presentation
En este cuarto proyecto coreográfico conjunto seguimos interesados en investigar sobre el lenguaje y las convenciones,  y reflexionamos sobre el tema de la autoría, si bien Grand Applause supone un giro porque es la primera vez que hemos abierto la puerta de nuestro estudio a influencias y colaboraciones externas.
