THE SHOW

If you have never been inside a popcorn machine, perhaps coming to see My! Laika will give you an idea of what it must be like… For this frenetically-paced show features not only circus of the highest technical standard, acclaimed all over Europe by audiences and critics alike, but also a neo-futurist aesthetic and a sense of humour bordering on the Dadaist that will sometimes make you laugh and sometimes freeze the smile on your lips. The production, with its fragmented narrative mechanism, clearly influenced by contemporary theatre, presents characters faced by extreme situations, who use the most demanding circus arts to express conflicts that are enacted inside each and every one of us. Be prepared: here is popcorn erupting from a volcano, atomic mushrooms and… tigers flying through the air

Produced by Les Thérèses and My! Laika and co-produced by Transversales Scène Conventionnée de Verdun and circ que O!
Supported by Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe 2009-2010, Envie d’Agir, City of Toulouse, Région Midi-Pyrénées and PACT- Pépinière des arts du cirque toulousaine (Lido – Grainerie)
