COMPAÑÍA LPM LOS PUTOS MAKINAS – LE CHALUMEAU PRODUCTION (Andrés Torres Días & Gonzalo Fernández Rodríguez)

The show aims to be a living testimony of the study of the hoop and the exploration of the infinite possibilities this object offers. The performers will weave stories and situations on the stage with the same naturalness and enthusiasm as children playing. Immersed in a tide of plastic, we will be led to the essence of this object. We will lose ourselves in its immensity. As the piece progresses, the space will transform and the emptiness of the stage will be replaced by plastic and colour. The rings will become more and more important until we are engulfed by their presence.

The company LPM, Los Putos Makinas, is a collective of circus juggling artists, initially co-founded around the Piti Peta Hofen Show, a trio with Andrés Torres Díaz, Lucas Castelo Branco and Johannes Bauhofer. Since 2017, this full-on show has been performed over 150 times worldwide. Juan Duarte Mateos joined the team to create Tutti Frutti, which premièred in 2020. Most recently, Gonzalo Fernández Rodríguez joined LPM for the duo Petróleo. LPM’s signature is very dramatic staging, at the service of satire. In a burlesque register, they coexist in the world of the absurd to denounce the inconsistency that conditions our lives.
