inTarsi, the second show by the Circus Company “eia”, is a thoughtful, visceral show that aims to “make people laugh as they think” or “make them think as they laugh” and offers a chance to take a look at things from another perspective. This piece is a reflection on the greatness of self-discovery and the transformation of the emotions: everyone is alone in one way or another, but if you look hard, you realise that you are not very different from those around you.

“We want to accompany the audience while they immerse themselves in a familiar world, a world made up of pieces of life that we all have been through, so that they can share a human experience with us.

We think of the audience as fellow travellers, not as spectators, inviting them to join our flight of imagination as soon as they enter the auditorium and offering them the possibility to identify with the changing states of mind that make up our journey.”

The company’s first show, Capas, has been staged in twelve countries (with over 150 performances) and won the City of Barcelona Award in 2011 in the circus category “for the risk taken in research and innovation”. It also won the Zirkolika Award for the best indoor circus show in 2011 and the 2012 Emilio Zapatero Circus Award at the Festival TAC in Valladolid.
