Jesús Rubio Gamo, a Madrid-bornchoreographer who trained in London, leads an exchange between the Mercat de les Flors and the Teatros del Canal in the Spanish capital with six dancers from each city talking about effort and the pleasure of resisting.

Gran Bolero is a dance about obstinance, the movement between pleasure and exhaustion, and the passing of time.
