The new production by choreographer Sol Picó changes gear to focus on men: this piece reflects on and examines the world of masculinity, the biological complement of the feminine world. The artist wonders how 21st century men live, feel, act, suffer and relate to the world. An escapade that the choreographer has defined as caustic, raw, roguish and tragicomic.

Based in Barcelona, the choreographer and dancer Sol Picó founded her own company in 1993 and has developed her own personal style since then. She has more than 30 shows to her name, many of them award-winners, such as Bésame el cactus, La dona manca o Barbi Superstar and El llac de les mosques. In 2004 she was awarded the National Dance Prize by the Generalitat Government of Catalonia and in 2016 she was granted the National Dance Prize by the Spanish Ministry of Culture.
