Maguy Marin offers us a beautiful reflection on the human condition and the borders between oneself and others. This work is inspired by an appointment by Robert Antel about the need for every human being to be recognized. A man on stage shows the faces of different people in an attempt to approach them, faces with a particular story. Maguy Marin offers us a nice reflection on the human condition and the borders between one and the other.
Maguy Marin is one of the French choreographers with a more relevant career, with more than 40 works. Her company, created in 1978, was constituted as at Créteil’s choreographic center in 1990. In 1998 she transformed it in the Center National choreographic of Rillieux-la-Pape, where he made one intense social work bringing dance closer to disadvantaged groups. Later, the company settled in Sainte-Foi-lès-Lyon, where he launched a new project: ramdam, an art center.
