An Australian company that scored a huge hit at Grec 2013 returns to Barcelona to present another show, a production that combines the most intense emotions with the purest circus arts.

No matter where they perform – in Asia or in Europe, in the North or in the South – there is no audience that can resist their sorcery. Circa are an Australian company that have already left their calling card in Barcelona: the most finely-honed circus acts placed at the service of the feelings and emotions. The results are shows that thrill and surprise, as we saw in 2013 with Circa and shall no doubt see once more this year with Beyond. For the seven performers in this new show are ready to reveal their inners selves and connect with audiences to take them… beyond. For Circa invite the spectator to explore different lines: the lines between human and animal, between madness and sanity, between logic and dream.  With warmth, emotion and the occasional surrealist touch, the members of Circa not only demonstrate their extraordinary skill, but also reveal the shadows that exist in human nature and, most important of all, create a strangely beautiful and curiously tender world.
