THOMAS NOONE DANCE

This work carries the hallmark of British choreographer Thomas Noone; highly physical and plastic. The piece is composed of a series of trios, each with a different visual and emotional texture, which unfold in a space dominated by a triangular light sculpture. Beneath refers to the complex system of norms and interpretations that govern our actions, to what lies behind each gesture, to the dark beast that lives inside each and every one of us.

Resident since 2005 at SAT! Sant Andreu Teatre, Thomas Noone created his company in 2001, developing his own gestural, physical and athletic style. A regular on the city’s big stages and guest choreographer for national and international companies, in 2011 he won the Ciutat de Barcelona award in the dance category.
