THÉÂTRE DE LA GUIMBARDE (Belgium)

Bach à sable (Bach in the sand) offers small children a first contact with dance and music, a gentle process of initiation guided by the dramatic interplay between the two performers and accompanied by the music of Bach.

The Belgian company La Guimbarde, with over seventy shows to their credit, has been working since 1973 to introduce children of all ages to the theatre. In 2000 they started creating shows for the youngest public of all (0-3 years old), an approach that has steadily and surely gained popularity throughout Europe.
