27 October, 24 November, 9 December (CANCELLED) and 23 December
PAST ACTIVITY
  • Season

    2023-2024

  • Days

27 October, 24 November, 9 December (CANCELLED) and 23 December

Among the activities taking place around SUPERMEDIUM, an open practice of 4 mornings is proposed around the process of creating the piece.

Through a guided meditation, participants will be invited to let themselves be possessed by the dance that is already in their body. A dance that is not situated in the past, the present or the future, but in all times at the same time. A practice where individual and collective memory meet through bodies in movement. An invocation to choreographers, choreographies, teachers, dancers, dances, gestures, movements, memories and sensations that make us move. Nothing is needed apart from the desire to be moved by the dance itself. Silence, listening, music and pleasure will be our psychotropics.

The practice is aimed at all types of people with or without previous dance experience. Calling on Virginie Despentes, this workshop is aimed at young and old, mothers, fathers, single, married, monogamous, polyamorous, hysterical, stupid, those who are excluded from the market, the too virile, the too feminine, the maladjusted, the whole LGTBQI+ collective, immigrants, refugees, rich, poor, professionals, amateurs and those who do not identify with any of these labels.

This practice will take place over 4 days: 27 October, 24 November, 9 December (CANCELLED) and 23 December (Registration here).

CÈL·LULA is an embryonic project to host the production, creation and transmission of dance within the structure of Mercat de les Flors. Invites choreographers to perform a medium-large format creation.

CÈL·LULA 4 invites the choreographer Núria Guiu, who has chosen to expand the Medium solo experience in a large format with 8 dancers: Clara Tena, Emma Riba, Mabel Olea, Aina Lanas, Blanca Tolsà, Anna Calsina, Laura Morales and Berta paschal

This activity is supported by the BANC SABADELL FBS FOUNDATION
