Introduction to dance in Catalonia

The fourth dance cycle held at the public libraries of Barcelona is about to kick off. It is organised by Biblioteques de Barcelona in conjunction with Mercat de les Flors and led by dancer and performer Toni Jodar, from BdDansa. This time round he will offer us performances devoted to dance and language of movement as developed in Catalonia. Drawing on personal experience, he will use his own body to illustrate the key moments, names and history of dance in Catalonia, compared to and put into context with European and worldwide movements.
