ROBERTO OLIVAN

Choreographer and dancer, Roberto Olivan takes up the challenge of stimulating the senses of younger audiences and transporting them to a world that stirs their imaginations.

Icarus is an Italian ensemble that has been very present in the main international festivals since 1994. Among its appearances, three participations in the Venice Biennale, six in the Zagreb Biennale, four in the Cervantino de Guanajuato festival in Mexico. Icarus has performed on four continents performing major live composers, often in world premieres. Past collaborations include: Christian Boltanski, Yoshi Oida, Icarus vs. Muzak capturing the legacy of adult ensembles.
