NÚRIA GUIU I AINA LANAS

In this solo, which takes a lecture performance format, Aina Lanas is possessed by personal, cultural and speculative memories of urban and social dance. The piece is a capsule derived from the show Supermedium, co-produced and premiered at the Mercat de les Flors in 2024. It was premiered during the re-run of Supermedium at the Mercat in 2025 under the name Supermedium expanded and was later staged at the 2025 Hop Festival under the name Smack! Waack, Punch!

Núria Guiu Sagarra is a dancer and choreographer. Her artistic practice explores the relationship between bodies, image and power relations from a speculative, sociocultural and personal perspective. Her works investigate the complexities of contemporary culture from an anthropological standpoint, especially those linked to digital environments, memory and affection.

Aina Lanas is a performer and movement co-creator. She has worked with companies such as Kulbik, Cirque du Soleil and Jazzbetween. She has toured internationally and directs her own video dance projects, having won several awards with Desasosiego. She teaches urban dance at the Institut del Teatre and is the founder of Cia Aina Lanas. She also collaborates with Si Los Martes Fueran Viernes.
