This joyful dance journey invites us to immerse ourselves in those moments of boredom that shaped our childhood imagination. On stage, the six performers  let us glimpse monsters and chimeras of distant and imagined landscapes. With a dynamic, impactful dance, the bodies launch, intertwine, collide and play together. This dreamlike experience to delight the whole family, whose title in English is Journey to the End of Boredom, uses everyday objects and gestures and challenges the passage of time.

Choreographer and dancer Sylvère Lamotte founded the Lamento Company in 2015. A long-time devotee of contact dance, a discipline that still influences his practice today, the choreographer’s research focuses on connecting with others, as well as on self-awareness, conveying a mixture of expressivity and abstraction with his writing.
