From Mercat de les Flors we want to make dance available to all people, taking into account the specific needs and particularities of our audiences.
That is why we maintain a firm commitment to accessibility and work every day to make our equipment a more accessible space.
Since 2024, we participate in the European project Europe Beyond Access.

These sessions are carried out within the framework of the research project on co-audio description methods of dance. A project coordinated by Magdalena Garzón and Mauricio Sierra, choreographers and researchers of the performing arts, with the collaboration of companies.
Relaxed sessions aim to include people with special needs in the shows. For example, people with social interaction difficulties or extreme sensitivity to sensory stimuli.
During these morning sessions, a more relaxed and welcoming atmosphere is created, with more inclusive rules regarding the moves and noise of the public. They may also involve minor adjustments to the show (lighting, sound…) in order to better adapt to their needs.
*** Recommended age
It is not advisable for children under the age of 5 to enter shows not intended for audiences aged 0 to 99. In any case, it will be the responsibility of the accompanying adults.
