The newest creation from Escarlata Circus delves into 30 years of a couple’s life and is based on the founders’ own experiences, both artistic and personal. Using everyday elements they create a link between what’s imagined and what’s real for a couple who play together, tame, accept and, above all, love each other.

In 1987, Jordi Aspa and Bet Miralta created Escarlata Circus, and have since put on a large number of shows that have toured Europe, Israel and Russia. They were artistic directors of Trapezi, the Circus Festival in Reus, from its launch in 1997 until 2011 and won the Catalan National Circus Prize in 2007. They’ve also directed shows by other companies and events.
