MEG STUART & DAMAGED GOODS

In recent times, Meg Stuart has created a number of solos in which she explores daily movements and physical conditions. An evening of solo works (2013) presents a selection of these solos, as well as fragments from longer pieces.

US choreographer and dancer Meg Stuart, who’s based between Berlin and Brussels, has just received the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in recognition of her career; she’s been one of the leading figures in European contemporary dance since the end of the 1990s. This is an opportunity to see her in Barcelona, where she’s only performed once before and many years ago. Stuart founded her Damaged Goods company in Brussels in 1994, and has since created over 30 productions with it.
