Ambra builds her shows by transposing elements of everyday live to the body, thus highlighting the absurd and the irony in relationships and in human feelings of sadness and joy. The result is a rigorous artistic production capable at the same time able of arousing subtle and unusual emotions, widening our vision to the huge richness of normality.
The workshops by Ambra Senatore and her collaborators aim at revealing their creative process, their method and their personal perspective to the participants by making them experiment a work process like that of the artist in her productions. The proposal includes the usage of many theatrical elements, as well as gestures and expressions from everyday life. The meeting starts with a moment dedicated to listening to the body and its relation to the space looking for a movement as little conditioned by will as possible. Then, work is continued with improvisations that use facial expression and relations to the others, usually through group games.
