FESTIVAL HOP 2014

On Monday December 8 will be held in the MAC Sala del Mercat de les Flors (Barcelona) closing and presentation of the winning proposals Certamen de Creación Escénica de Danzas Urbanas that has been carried out throughout November in different spaces the city of Barcelona.
The start time will be at 17:45 and admission is free. Limited capacity

Brodas Bros – Solo2

Two dancers who are looking for balance and harmony but also they are looking for the necessary to avoid drowning while always being there space.
Brodas is one of the most charismatic cia of urban dance in Catalonia.

The play explores the physiological phylosofy about men who are running passing through a world that constantly creates an image of what a man is supposed to be.

Birdgang Dance Company – Vice

Turning around in fighting addictions, Vice follows the quest of a man, of an “ideal”.
The British company is formed by a group of dancers from around the world who have come together as a family through art, dance and music.

SPECIAL MENTION OF THE JURY

Nile Fruitos and Moogles Thecage – TwoAM

The proposal looks for connection between two dancers and two cities, but the same world. The dance, the perfect excuse to travel and share experiences. The dancers are pooling their knowledge and dance in the most organic possible way.
