THIS SHOW TAKES PLACE AT EL GRANER, FÀBRICA DE CREACIÓ (c. Jane Adams, 14-16, Barcelona)
A floor covered with white paper. Seven buckets and two male dancers dressed in white. We uncover a bucket…, what is inside? Blue paint. And in the other buckets?
With more than twenty years of experience, the centre for contemporary dance Dansmakers Amsterdam features a choreography in which the dancers start to crawl, roll and turn on the floor. In so doing, they leave behind traces of colour on the white paper: red, blue, yellow and green. The result will be a colourful painting, not only made with paintbrushes or the hands and fingers, but with the whole body.Dansmakers Amsterdam has been working for more than twenty years in the creation of contemporary dance. As talent builder, it focuses strongly on the research, production and featuring of shows.
