ANA BORRALHO & JOAO GALANTE

This participatory piece features Young people aged between 18 and 23 who ask questions about happiness; on stage they strip down emotionally to talk about their dreams, conflicts, risks, identities, visions and experiences. It’s a reflection on the transformations happening in society today and the expectations of these young adults.

Ana Borralho and João Galante have worked together since 2002 in performance art, dance, theatre, installation art, photography, sound and video. During the Mercat’s 2017-2018 season, they presented their community piece Atlas as part of the SÂLMON< festival.
