KUKAI DANTZA & SHARON FRIDMAN

A life journey that crosses, through individual and collective rites, the different states of life in relation to nature and the community. A group of dancers and a choir made up by around twenty women (from the town where the piece is performed) revise the traditional rituals still performed today and interpret them from a contemporary viewpoint.

The Basque company, which along with its own creations invites renowned choreographers to create pieces for them, has invited the choreographer Sharon Fridman to develop Erritu.
