This piece is the third part of the FALLA project, which the company has developed to find the connections between the concepts of cosmos, geology, ancestry, memory and future. After months of walking through deserts, forests and valleys, dozens of people of all ages meet in a clearing and ask each other what brought them there. The answer is their desire to dance, to remake and share the ancestral dance of Laniakea, as an immemorial ritual. They will have to build a shelter, decipher maps and go on galactic adventures.
The AzkonaToloza company explores the infinite possibilities of poetry and visual anthropology, lo-fi video creation, performance and movement. Their latest creations focus on the re-reading of official history and on the creation of documentaries for the stage. Their works have been presented in numerous national and international theatres and festivals. From 2020 to 2023, AzkonaToloza will be a partner company of the Théâtre Garonne de Toulouse. Since its beginnings, the company has had a very close relationship with the Antic Teatre.
