The piece speculates on forms of coexistence in which the collective is not based on consensus, but on the convergence of dissonant forces. It challenges fixed structures and explores language not as a tool of definition, but as a territory of rupture, fragility and transformation. The work questions the limits of the intelligible, dissolving the hierarchies between the human and the non-human, the artificial and the organic, from a body as an open system that is modelled by what passes through it.
Manuel Rodríguez’s works in dance, choreography and the visual arts. He is a recent graduate of the New Performative Practices master’s degree programme at Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH), through which he developed his most recent research. His artistic practice unfolds as a poetic and critical exploration, constantly moving towards the resinification of the limits that shape our perception of the body, language and space. Rodriguez’s creations have been seen in international venues, as well as in museums, art galleries and non-conventional spaces.
