Warning: The work of these three acrobats is marked by an intimate relationship between their bodies that may make the spectators feel uncomfortable. Attending the performance means accepting to face it head-on.

Three acrobats explore masculinity with the goal of redefining it and opening themselves up to plural love. Through dance and acrobatics, the trio of performers confronts the toxic aspects of virility, in particular its violent side, in order to transform it and lay bare a space of necessary fragility. Their deep physical commitment is placed at the service of a relationship with the other based on trust and respect for intimacy. At times their bodies pose disturbing questions – without any provocation or inhibition – where gentleness and self-mockery find a place.

Based in Brussels, Arno Ferrera and Gilles Polet are performers and choreographers who explore themes of masculinity through artistic proposals that focus on physical touch and intimacy. They draw on circus, dance and performance to present an artistic language marked by the notions of support, transformation and care. By creating opportunities for encounters of physical touch in their shows and workshops, Arno and Gilles offer a path to surrender, to the discovery of trust and, therefore, to the transformation of self-perception.
