Musical and choreographic piece for nine female performers: four brass instrumentalists and five dancers. Together they invoke different imaginaries around the air, through dance, music and the rhythm of the word. How is energy generated through this element and what is it to breathe together today? The performers move in the same way as the air moves and repeat in the same way as breaths repeat.
Aina Alegre, dancer, performer and choreographer, is interested in choreographic creation as a terrain for “re-imagining” the body. She explores different body cultures and practices, understood as social, historical and anthropological representations. Fiction as a genre and cultural practice also nourishes her work. She constructs choreographic objects from different media: stage pieces, performances, videos. Her work has been performed in several countries, including Spain, France, Greece, Belgium, Switzerland, Peru, Germany, Italy and Romania. Since January 2023, Alegre has been directing the Centre chorégraphique national de Grenoble, in tandem with performer Yannick Hugron.

As part of the Vibe35 project, in which six public facilities -Mercat dels Flors, Teatre Lliure, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, L’Auditori i el Palau de la Música- collaborate to create new young audiences and promote educational and social initiatives. We offer a special program aimed at young people 18 to 35 years old, with reduced price.
These are the activities which Mercat de les Flors Hall will host, before and after the show:
From 6.30pm to 7pm: Live broadcast of ‘La Trinae‘ (Radio Primavera Sound)
Nowadays, going to the toilet is secretive, intimate and, in short, a fact that we carry with a certain stench. In Ancient Rome, however, when public baths were the center of leisure, the lavatories of the time, the latrinae, often had more than one seat. And it was while they were shitting that the Romans struck up a conversation. XXI century, let’s get back into the habit: Cèlia, Llum and Mercè are La Trinae, a podcast made by and for young people where they shit on everything together.
From 7 to 7.45 pm: Live broadcast of ‘Plaersdemavida‘ (Radio Primavera Sound)
Paula Carreras presents some of her “Plaersdemavida”, where she invites us to enjoy life and culture, creating a space for reflection, but also relaxation. Radio Primavera Sound’s new fortnightly culture podcast has different collaborators to be able to make a complete x-ray of all cultural areas. In this case, accompanying Paula, Nil Martín, our specialist in the world of performing arts, will come to explain and recommend everything we can’t miss at the theater at the beginning of the season.
From 9.15pm to 11pm: Radio Primavera Sound session with Colmado Dj (aftershow)
Colmado Dj (FKA Dj Baldwin) is the alter ego of Sergi Cuxart, music selector of Radio Primavera Sound and now also behind the adventure of running a label with Discos El Colmado. His passion for flat wax has made him accumulate huge amounts of records ranging from the most danceable tropical groove to the most explosive disco music, passing through the epic AOR or the cult freak stuff.
