LOSCORDEROS.SC

The starting point was the Mercat de les Flors in September 2012: the “Indisciplines” cycle proposed a partnership between loscorderos.sc and Za! They seemed condemned to get along … and then created what would be the embryo of Afasians. This consists of a conference, both extraordinary and irrelevant, that introduces the tribe of the Afasians and their discoveries, such as the destruction of the EGO. Nonetheless, it could well be said that the Afasians are not a tribe, never make any discoveries, and don’t give conferences, and the words “tribe”, “discovery” and “conference” are only being used to understand them.

Since 2003 loscorderos.sc have been creating shows under their own definition of “bastard theatre”, a particularly forceful theatrical formula with regard to emotional, physical and energetic involvement. This is a company that manages to be both extreme and thought-provoking. Za! specialise in a combination of experimental sounds and unimaginable music mixes and they have just won the 2016 City of Barcelona Award.
