In a world saturated with noise, speed and constant stimuli, MYCO proposes the opposite gesture: to pause and listen. To listen to the murmurs of the trees, to the subterranean rhythm of the life that surrounds us, and to the silent poetry that inhabits both the forest and ourselves. Through dance, Pau Aran opens a space for contemplation and connection with nature—an invitation to recognize the beauty and fragility of existence.
Pau Aran is an artist who lives and works between Germany and Spain. For fifteen years he was a dancer with the Tanztheater Wuppertal – Pina Bausch company, where he performed more than twenty-five pieces from Bausch’s repertoire, delving into the richness and complexity of her stage language. At the same time, since 2013 he has been developing his own universe as an independent choreographer, presenting works in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Chile and Japan. His most recent works include Seeking the Truth (2023), a commission for the Deltebre Dansa Festival, and his latest creation, Erinnerungen an den Widerstand (2026), a piece created for the Pfalztheater dance company in Kaiserslautern.
