The ballroom scene comes to Spain with a bang with The Royal Gucci Ball, an event that celebrates the elegance, talent and diversity of the queer and racialised community. Organised by Jayce Gorgeous Gucci, Godmother of the prestigious Gorgeous House of Gucci, this ball will bring together some of the most influential figures in art and expression without limits. In ballroom culture, a ball is a competition where participants shine in different categories, such as Vogue, Runway and Face.
Jayce is one of the most influential figures of the ballroom scene in Spain and a reference within the queer and racialised community in Barcelona. As Spanish Mother of the Elite Kiki House of Bodega and Spanish Godmother of the international Gorgeous House of Gucci, she has worked to promote and make visible the ballroom culture in the country, promoting safe and inclusive spaces for new generations. From the beginning, Jayce has excelled in the Vogue Femme category, achieving recognition in international competitions and being invited to judge events in Portugal, Germany, Austria and Sweden. In 2021, she marked a milestone in her career by becoming the first Spaniard to join the Gorgeous House of Gucci, making her debut in Paris and establishing herself as a benchmark on the scene.
