In Cometa, an unexpected visitor invites us, through her curiosity and her discoveries, to look at our world through new eyes, a child’s eyes. Cometa is a galactic adventure to rediscover and marvel at the force of gravity, the possibilities of movement and the power of empathy. Geometry, play and the speed of light. The universe, imagination and interstellar voyages. And, above all, it is a party to celebrate that we have found each other!

Trained at the MTD in Amsterdam, Roser López Espinosa has worked with choreographers such as Àngels Margarit, Cesc Gelabert, Pere Faura, Lipi Hernández, Iago Pericot, the filmmaker Isaki Lacuesta, and Marta Reig Torres and Katie Duck in Holland. In 2017, she created L’estol for the Producció Nacional de Dansa and in 2019 she premiered Trama (Critics Award for the Best Choreography). She has worked as a guest choreographer for international companies such as Skånes Dansteater (Sweden), Zagreb Dance Company (Croatia), Conny Janssen Danst (Netherlands) or MiR Dance Company (Germany). Her choreographic work is based on a strong physicality, with an enormous passion for precision, delicacy, acrobatic elements and detail. Complicity and teamwork come together in an imagined world full of vitality and play, refined poetics and a touch of humour.
