Before being the name of a defeat, Berezina was the name of a battle. In this piece by David Wampach, each dancer fights in front of the mirror. Renewing the gesture of the plastic artists who cultivated action painting or endotism (as opposed to exotism!), here a struggle is waged with and against narcissism through a series of metamorphoses. As if everyone, in order to reach their essence, the light and dark part of their history, should gladly accept the formation, deformation and exhaustion of all their masks.
