MARIA JURADO

We present this piece in the process of creation with the support of the TT (Tenir Temps) project of the Mercat de les Flors, with the collaboration of the Fundación Banco Sabadell. This solo investigates and constructs its landscape as a plastic reality. It is a space where time, conversations and nostalgia converge with the intention of confusing immobility or understanding the contradictions produced by the dynamics of precariousness and continuous alienation. A temporary oasis, a scenic hallucination that insists on materiality through performance, presence and staging.

María Jurado is an artist, choreographer, performer and researcher between the limits of conceptual dance and performance, with a different look at each creation, investigating the limits of the format. In 2022 she premiered the piece Black Sun at the Grec Festival and her second piece, Spooky, which has been seen in several national venues. She is currently part of a resident company with David Corral at Nau Ivanow and Graner.
