COLECTIVO N-340

This is a stage project that utilizes travel as a research space. Questions about the identity and the ways of doing, or not doing, in common pass over the 1,248 km of Mediterranean coast between Cadiz and Barcelona. In it, the staging act functions as synchrony of the geographical sphere, memories and meetings. The project presents dramaturgies in motion towards contemplation, interference, the being with the other and in the other; and it remains in travel trying to understand.

Colectivo N-340 is an arts research team on the search for collaborative work methodologies. Their members met in a context of practical research in which they questioned, and critically reflected on, the relation between theory and practice in the sphere of stage and visual arts. They understand thought, artistic practice and production as interlinked elements put in the same level in the creation process. Their project looks for the limits and the commitment to artistic experience.
