THOMAS NOONE DANCE

Closer gives new perspectives on dance in a celebration of movement and theatre. This creation combines dance, physical theatre, music and visuals to create an emotive story of secrets and obsessions. Inspired by their experience of circus, the supremely talented international cast challenge the traditional relationship between performer and audience to create a work that is dynamic, engaging and with a thrilling sense of spontaneity. In Closer, Thomas Noone once more employs his explosive style of elaborate composition structures, acrobatics, virtuosities and extreme physicality. The London choreographer wants to expand his vision of dance and give it new expressive abilities. With the company that he founded in 2000, Noone has created over 20 pieces that have toured around the world. In 2011 he received the City of Barcelona Prize.
