Auguri, the new production by Olivier Dubois, is also the last part of his trilogy Étude critique pour un trompe l’oeil. During the last seven years he has created four pieces that make up this series, which is a search for happiness. The show features 22 dancers whose unbridled, explosive movements result in an outburst of joy and anxiety. Described as beautiful and intelligent, this intense production premiered at the Lyon Biennale.

Olivier Dubois – the enfant terrible of contemporary dance according to some opinions – has been the director of the Ballet du Nord – Centre Chorégraphique National de Roubaix Nord-Pas-de-Calais since 2014. Olivier, who has danced for choreographers such as Jan Fabre and Sasha Waltz, was nominated one of the 25 best dancers in the world in 2011. He has had an exceptional international career as a choreographer, performer and teacher.
