INTERSECTING BODY, HOME, TIME, TERRITORY
We start the 2020-21 season with a broad programme crisscrossed by multiple thematic focuses and which also includes the postponed programming from last spring.
As couldn’t be otherwise, this is a season of transit, both on and off the stage, which will range from the choreography of distance to the reunion with and recognition of others, from digital images to real presence in order to recover our bodies and drive away all fear.
All the work in progress and every view of each piece will be modified by the lived experience, where we have seen that artistic expression is essential for human beings, where we have acquired greater awareness of our bodies and how we need the bodies of others to feel at home.
If in the previous season we focused on the dialogue between dance, its context and territory, in this one we focus our attention on the observation of dance, the body and time. Numerous proposals and numerous formats, exceptional artists, some recognized, others unknown, emerging or essential, original and brilliant, with impressive trajectories behind them waiting to be discovered or rediscovered… here you have the preview of an extraordinary season.
