COMPAGNIA TPO Bleu!

Compartir

Recommended for: 4 years on

Taking the classical mythology of the Mediterranean as a starting point, Bleu explains the meeting between a sailor and a sea nymph. The story begins when the nymph drops a pearl into the sea, which the sailor has to find. The sailor sets off on an adventure-packed voyage across the sea, transforming this story into an odyssey of discovery and knowledge.

The Italian company TPO is very well established in the ambit of shows for children and youth and well known to Mercat audiences, as it has already presented the works Farfalle, Il giardino dipinto and Il giardino giapponese  at this venue. The company – winner of numerous awards – uses interaction to transform its shows into a sensitive environment that serves to explore the fine line between art and play. TPO has worked with interactive technology since it was founded in 1981, developing, for example, the theatrical concept of the “CCC” (children’s cheering carpet), a large interactive dance surface where dancers are able to generate and activate sounds and images through a system of pressure sensors.
